COVID-19 Vaccinations
All Coloradans 6 Months and older are eligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccine.
Please register using your or your child’s full legal name for one of the hundreds of vaccination sites. Please remember the phone number and email you provide at the time of vaccination since you will need that information to access your vaccination record.
For adults aged 18 years and older, the brand of omicron (bivalent) COVID-19 vaccine offered is based on availability. You may not get the brand you requested. Both Moderna and Pfizer effectively protect you from COVID-19. CDC recommends getting the first dose available to you, regardless of brand. There is no preference of one brand over another. Coloradans aged 12 through 17 years will get Pfizer’s omicron dose at their vaccine appointment, as it is the only omicron vaccine product authorized for this age group.

MonkeyPox Vaccination Information
People who can receive the Jynneos vaccine for mpox (monkeypox) include:
- Anyone (any sexual orientation or gender identity) who has had close physical contact with someone who has mpox in the last 14 days.
- Anyone (any sexual orientation or gender identity) who:
- Has multiple or anonymous sexual partners, or
- Has close physical contact with other people in a venue where anonymous or group sex may occur, or
- Was diagnosed with gonorrhea or syphilis in the past six months, or
- Already uses or is eligible for HIV PrEP (medication to prevent HIV, e.g. Truvada or Descovy or Apretude), or
- Is living with HIV, or
- Engages in commercial and/or transactional sex (e.g. sex in exchange for money, shelter, food, and other goods or needs).
- Anyone (any sexual orientation or gender identity) identified by public health as a known high-risk contact of someone who has mpox.
- Anyone whose sexual partner identifies with any of the above scenarios.
People who currently have a fever, rash, or sores that may be due to mpox cannot get vaccinated with the Jynneos vaccine. Instead, they should separate from others and contact a health care provider to get tested.
After you have received your vaccine, please wait up to 5 days for that vaccination information to be available in the CIIS Public Portal or in the myColorado app.(myColorado app only displays COVID-19 vaccines)
